This is a well-known side effect because Isotretinoin causes some hairs to enter the shedding phase sooner than they would otherwise. The good news is that any hair changes should recover within 6 to 18 months of stopping Isotretinoin. Some people have complained about fatigue, irritability, poor concentration and forgetfulness – but these are not terribly common. If you are very concerned, you should wait until after the exams. Do not take extra on the next day to make up for the missed dose. You will just take that day’s worth at the end of the course.
These serious skin rashes are often preceded by headache, fever and body aches (flu-like symptoms). The isotretinoin dose prescribed depends on your body weight.
